Experimental study on seismic behavior of full scale square concrete filled steel tubular stocky columns

چکیده

This study mainly presented a pseudo-static experiment on two full-scale square CFST short columns with the cross-sectional width of 600 mm under combined constant axial load and cyclic lateral load. The seismic performance were investigated. Meanwhile, plastic hinge length specimens was discussed. test results that suffered bend-shear failure. local buckling steel tube occurred at end core concrete crushed. safety redundancy bearing capacity decreased in specimen. By method physical observation, L p1 determined according to range tube. There had great difference between prediction lengths by existing calculation model obtained test.
